Recognize Your Unit Member of the Year
The Unit Member of the Year award honors an Auxiliary member who goes above and beyond at the Unit level. This member leads through action, giving their time and talents to serve others without expecting recognition or holding positions beyond the Unit. Every Unit has someone who quietly makes a big impact—this is your chance to celebrate them.
Each Unit may nominate one member for this honor. Departments will select one nominee to be recognized as their official Unit Member of the Year and celebrated at the National Convention.
Nomination Guidelines:
- Open to senior members who are not currently serving in an elected or appointed leadership role above the Unit level.
- Units may nominate one member.
- Units must provide a narrative (1,000 words or less) describing the nominee’s service and contributions, along with the nominee’s name and address.
- Each Department will select the Unit Member of the Year for the Department and may submit that nominee for National Level
- Unit Member of the Year.
